How much greenhouse gases are emitted by agriculture?

Worldwide, the agricultural sector is responsible for 23% of anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Reduction of GHG emissions, carbon storage in soil and energy production are criteria that could be targeted by the agricultural sector. Technology is not the solution, but it is part of it.
